The SOS Kindergarten consists of two group rooms and has a capacity for up to fifty children. Primary school education is offered at the SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, where up to 120 children can be taught in four classrooms. Additionally, the SOS Kindergarten and the SOS Hermann Gmeiner School share a kitchen, a dining hall, a multi-purpose hall and a garden.
Furthermore, the two SOS Youth Facilities in Keila and Tallinn also belong to the SOS Children's Village in Keila. Youngsters move to the SOS Youth Facilities once they have outgrown their SOS families. They stay there during their vocational training or further education and their youth leaders help them prepare for an independent life. The family strengthening programmeoffers access to essential services for children’s development (eg. educational, nutritional and health support, social skills) and supports families to protect and care for their children. The programme also aims at linking families with income generating activities and offers help to improve the parents’ parenting skills.
