Hermann Gmeiner Day

In manifold senses the Hermann Gmeiner Day is something special. It’s a day in order to get together, to interchange and to remember.

The Hermann Gmeiner Day targets co-workers from our supporting associations. We also welcome the participation of full and associate members of the association as well as friends and interested parties. The event aims to stimulate an exchange of ideas and opinions about current topics of relevance to SOS Children’s Villages and society.

The impulses from this event are intended to flow into the work of the SOS co-workers as well as the personal experience of all participants. Like this, we also hope that the insights gained can be incorporated into their everyday work.

The date of the event follows Hermann Gmeiner’s date of death (26.4.1986).
