Learning and Development
Values-Based Social Intervention
We approach education as a lifelong learning process and in a tailored way to fit the modern workplace learning needs. Consequent to this, we promote and support a continuous personal learning experience and create content and events.
When SOS Children's Villages employees from around the world come together to tell each other stories about the best moments of their working lives, it's time for harvesting.
Hermann Gmeiner was the founder of SOS Children's Villages. We celebrate his birthday with a discussion day on topics which are of specific interest for the future development of the SOS idea.
New employees have the unique opportunity to get to know the most important cornerstones of the work of SOS Children's Villages International and their employees in three days.
The challenge is to strengthen awareness of the work of SOS Children's Villages as a development cooperation organization through joint discussions.
What if meetings were a place where people come together to get really engaged, charged up and innovative about the challenges they're facing and the work they have to do? This 2.5 day workshop teaches you how to plan, design and host meaningful conversations that convey results and commitment.
In this half-day session we focus on the topics of change and knowledge transfer through storytelling.
This half-day session will give you the opportunity to learn about and experience the difference between “normal questions” and questions that are asked from an appreciative inquiry angle.
We also approach education as an experience by creating a social space where learning takes place.
Each year more than 1,000 SOS Children's Villages children from all over Europe and their carers experience this summer workshop at the SOS holiday village on Lake Caldonazzo.
